Where to ride & park
You can ride the Spin e-scooter along cycle paths and in most places in the town. However, there are some roads where it’s forbidden to ride to ensure safety for all road users, including pedestrians. If unsure, check your app for guidance or see map below.

OUT OF BOUND ZONES
You are not permitted to ride the Spin e-scooter beyond the operating area (shown in green). Your scooter will stop and you won’t be able to continue your ride.

NO RIDING ZONES
To ensure the safety of all road users, there are some areas where you are not allowed to ride (shown in red). We call these no-go zones.

Park respectfully
- Be mindful and avoid blocking pavements, access ramps, bus stops, and landscaped areas.
- Park your e-scooter by the edge of the pavement (closest to the street), near bike racks, or in designated e-scooter drop zones.

Safety Measures - COVID-19
During Covid-19, we’ve enhanced our sanitization and safety protocols and created a designated COVID-19 Operations task force to monitor new guidelines and establish new procedures based on updated guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and Office of Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
We make sure that our team wash their hands and wears the appropriate PPE when handling e-scooters. All scooters are sprayed with disinfectant every day. The transport vehicle is sanitised daily and each e-scooter leaving the warehouse is sprayed before it is being deployed.
A FEW MEASURES RIDERS CAN TAKE:
Essential Rides: Be sure to follow local government and public health orders when riding.
Wear a cloth mask whenever you go out in public and ride Spin.
Ride Solo: For safety purposes and for social distancing recommendations, maintain six feet of distance between yourself and others.
Wash Your Hands Before and After Riding: Gloves can also be worn as an additional preventative measure.
